Francisco 'Curro' Checa Romero formed Studio Idealyc in the autumn of 2008 after gathering experience across the diverse field of Architecture. His knowledge ranges from the poetic to the practical, a dichotomy developed in his studies and the RCA and throughout professional practice.
At Studio Idealyc we provide services that cover the scope of small to medium projects, offering advice as planning consultants and developing projects from their initial concept to their realisation as physical products. Every stage is considered with the minutest attention to detail as Curro recongises that this is the only way to achieve an end result that is truly unique.
The practice's approach is intensely contextual; always user centred, responding to the site and skeleton of the building in a way that results in an enduring and characterful architecture. Starting with the recognition that the route to successful design is a collaborative process, the studio delivers architecture with strong identity and sense of history, alongside consistent, high quality craftsmanship that compliments our intentions.
